چکیده

Abstract Background Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and Trichoderma harzianum are effective bioagents against Fusarium oxysporum Verticillium dahliae in tomato plants. The objective of the research was to evaluate vivo antagonistic activity AMF T. wilt by enhancing growth resistance A completely randomized experimental design used, consisting twelve treatments with nine replicates for each treatment. included combinations inoculation, infection or non-infection F. V. dahliae, while also considering individual combined treatments. Mycorrhization rates, parameters, disease severity, progression, impact on mitigation were evaluated. Results study revealed superiority over , resulting a significant enhancement overall extent colonization plants co-inoculated . Moreover, + consortium contributed improvement among all infected Both significantly reduced progression wilt, reductions 45.14 44.91%, respectively, than untreated (initial severity 75.54%). demonstrated greater efficacy reducing infection, reduction 34.45% compared 28.26% AMF, starting from an initial 69.85%. Thus, effectiveness controlling disease, particularly wilt. Conclusion target application control methods both mitigating Furthermore, higher level These findings emphasize potential as sustainable alternatives agriculture, providing viable option decrease dependence fungicides.

Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi: Biocontrol against Fusarium Wilt of Chickpea

The present study shows the status of mycorrhization in three test varieties of chickpea. As the results revealed irrespective to the crops when arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) were assessed under the influence of soil quality better results were obtained with unsterile soil in comparison to sterile soil. Chickpea variety ICC 11322 showed the best result against the Fusarium wilt and chickpe...

Inoculation of tomato seedlings with Trichoderma Harzianum and Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi and their effect on growth and control of wilt in tomato seedlings

A green house study was conducted to investigate the ability of an isolate of Trichoderma harzianum (P52) and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) in enhancing growth and control of a wilt pathogen caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici in tomato seedlings. The plants were grown in plastic pots filled with sterilized soils. There were four treatments applied as follows; P52, AMF, AMF + P...

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi alleviate oxidative stress induced by ADOR and enhance antioxidant responses of tomato plants.

The behaviour of tomato plants inoculated with arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi grown in the presence of aqueous extracts from dry olive residue (ADOR) was studied in order to understand how this symbiotic relationship helps plants to cope with oxidative stress caused by ADOR. The influence of AM symbiosis on plant growth and other physiological parameters was also studied. Tomato plants were ...

INOCULATION OF Trichoderma harzianum DURING MATURATION OF VINEYARD WASTE COMPOST TO CONTROL MUSKMELON Fusarium WILT

The utilization of compost vineyard wastes as suppressive growing media against Fusarium wilt is a good alternative for the disposal and recycling of these organic wastes. Inoculation of biological control agents (BCAs) enhances the biocontrol activity of compost. In this experiment, vineyard compost was sampled at different stages during the composting process, rating the values of acceptabili...
